Where do you draw the line between having a healthy appetite for sex and a problematic sexual obsession?
In the past, women who were thought to have sexual cravings beyond the norm were diagnosed as having nymphomania. Men with the same proclivity were said to suffer from satyriasis. Health professionals
have now grouped both disorders into one category called “hypersexuality.”
However, disorder is a guarded term in reference to hypersexuality. There’s no actual test to diagnose it, and since sex drives differ greatly among individuals, who’s to say what’s normal and what’s not.

Beyond The Condom: Birth Control Supplements for Men
Scientists have performed some promising tests on what could become the first male birth control pill. A sugar molecule called NR-DNJ, when given to male mice has resulted in fully reversible
sterility.
The drug prevents specific molecules needed for sperm production from being produced. Then, when the chemical wears off, test subjects regain complete fertility.
There are two reasons why scientists feel NB-DNJ has given them new hope in their quest for a male birth contraceptive. First, the drug has already been put through many clinical trials on humans
for other medical purposes. Second, the chemical is easily tolerated by the human body.
